About 2 years ago I hyperextended my ACL. I didn't have any insurance so I purchased a low grade knee brace and grit my teeth through the pain. It healed up to a managable pain after 6 months. Then another 6 months I slowly weened myself off the brace and I haven't had any problems until about 4-5 months ago. Now it's starting to bother me again, at least a lot more than usual. The problem is unlike the other injuries I sustained as a kid I don't have the option of going to a fitness center. The one here isn't properly maintained, last time i blew out my shoulder and couldn't use it for a day because they didn't lubricate their equipment. Do you know of any exercises I can do at home to strengthen up my knee and get it to heal faster?
