Need a Fitness Program?
Hi All Fitness Gurus, I need some help designing a workout program to help me achieve my objective of losing some weight (30 t0 40 pounds) and increase my strength and endurance. I’m a 36 yrs old male, 5’ 10" and 205 pounds. I had some problems with back and hip spasms few years back. I’m better now but I still try to be more careful with my back. Due to time constraints, I would like to workout at home. I’m on a simple low fat diet. I have the following exercise equipments to work with: Air Rowing Machine Weight Bench with a butterfly and leg attachments. Recumbent Bike Treadmill For the gurus out there, please give me a detailed program to help me with my objective. I can dedicate 1-2 hours in the evening daily to the workout if need be. Please take into consideration my semi bad back. Also, please give detailed instructions as I’m new to this. Thank you in advance. John.

- Well, I'm not a trainer, and I wouldn't take this kind of advice off the internet, so I'll just say this: start slow, walking every day, or biking, try a yoga or pilates class (seriously, a stronger core will support your back) when you feel stronger, (and have lost some weight) THEN take on weight training. Always use perfect form- don't throw heavy weight around to feed your ego, you'll just get hurt. Read Muscle and Fitness. Really good, responsible info on form, meal plans, and work out splits. It's great you are doing this for yourself, but take. it. reeeeallly. slow!!!!!!!!! Too many people get impatient for results and rush it and regret it. I wish you the best!
- Workout progarms are designed by trained professionals. I wouldnt follow what someone writes here. Could be BS. I suggest do you own research with this this thing called the internet.
