Is the U.S. economy trying to take over the British economy by Nasdaq trying to buy the London Stock exchange?

1. No...the exchanges are simply businesses. The aren't our economies. If they were to disappear it would have no impact on the underlying stocks except to make them more difficult to trade. But trading would go on as before.
2. No. That is not possible. It is one company trying to buy out another. It happens all of the time in business. Economies don't and can't take over other economies.
