I live in France, and I would like to buy stocks and shares in Dow Jones and Nasdaq via a website or US bank ?

To do it from a french bank seems to be a little complicated and quite expensive. And French want a too important money deposit Is there an american website, or a bank/invest company which can do it straight from USA, if I send the necesary money ? I'm looking for a safe,secure,easy and cheap way to make investments, via internet ( and phone ). Could you give me some information about any serious company in USA, please ? PD : I live in France, and I am not a US citizen ( Turkish ). Thanks
