The MAC 187 Brush - Worth it for £25?

I've seen so many good reviews about this brush .. (http://makeupalley.com/product/showreview.asp/ItemId=53057/#_187_Stippling_Brush/MAC/Makeup_Brushes) I asked my mum to get me it and she said she would, but when my nan found out she said it was too much for a brush. Do you think so?

2. Why not try out their Adoring Carmine Holiday Face Brush Set? Its four mini brushes for 49.50$ which is um.. 26 pounds for you i think.. and it included the 187.
