does guitar center write some of there own product reviews?

whenever im reading reviews for products on gc some of them look like they are written by actual customers while others seem like they were paid by gc to write them. any one else get this feeling?

3. Yep, I had that very same thought when looking up gear on the website. Even on products I know that suck, some pinhead gave it raving reviews.

Very common and very well known in the industry They also push whatever they want to get rid of that day/week/month. that's why I prefer the local small stores, They will help you "after the sale" better than GC will. or Sweetwater, when I have to resort to the net. I have nothing to do with Sweetwater, I have just found them to be the most honest internet seller out there. They will try to help you buy what YOU want, not what they are trying to get rid of that week.
