best exercise equipment?

I am 5-0 and want to lose some weight off my stomach so I was wondering which would be the best equipment to buy for personal home use. I already have a tony little gazelle which only worked to get my arms stronger and an ab lounge which hasn't worked at all. so I'm up to any suggestions plus it would also be nice just to be fit all over since I weigh 168 instead of 119 like I should be

  1. Best thing is, to not buy any equiptment. It's costly and gives you if not the same than less effects of good old fashion crunches. Because you are not relying on the machine to do the work for you. So lay on your back and crunch away. Don't come up too high, so you don't hurt your back. Pin your navel to the floor, and keep your head elevated to save the risk of hurting your neck. There are tons of different types of crunches for all the different abs you want to hit just look it up on google. Stay consistant, don't give up after only one week it takes time to see results with anything & good luck! :)
  2. hm i wanted to buy an ab lounge. you say it didnt help. did it really not help. cuz i wana also lose to weight off my stomach. please email back with an answer.
  3. Just don't make the mistake of buying a bowflex machine. It's real nice, but you'll be paying on it for the nest 15 years if your not careful. A regular weight machine from Walmart is fine, and you won't be making monthly payment for the rest of our natural life!!!
