I knew best buy is opening up and I applied for a merchandiser position. I want a job that does not have a quote (cashiers I believe have a quota to open credit accounts and sales reps have to sell warranties). I want a job that is pretty fast paced and keeps me moving (I go crazy when I am bored). So I applied for a merchandiser position at best buy. Ive pretty much applied everywhere that is hiring, but best buy is one of the first to call for an interview. So what exactly do merchandisers do at best buy? Do they stock the shelves, put the prices, scan the items from the trucks? Also, for anyone that knows first hand what its like to work in that position, how is it? Is it hard? Challenging? Not worth the pay? How was the working environment at best buy?
