- Quit lying. If you were an investor you would no that bad assets need to be liquidated, not propped up.
- The banks did NOT do this. Acorn (read Obama & his supporters) forced the banks to issue those risky mortgages. They got us into this mess on purpose. They did it so those of us with no comprehension skills would want "change" and vote for him. Then he COULD spend OUR money. Gotta pay back those supporters you know. The set up has been coming for years. This ain't the bottom folks, no where near it.
- I don't know man, i believe it goes much further than that. Much further. I believe its one of the biggest cover up attempts ever.
- Well if you are hooking your star to Obama, you like the rest of us, will be very disappointed. Obama and his stimulus plan, will fail miserably. We can't just keep printing money. One day in the very near future, there will be an inflation, that will make today's prices, look like a discount bin, at your local dollar store.
- Dagney and Silver said it all !!
- Your post makes no sense
- How about TWO wars....and HUGE tax breaks for the rich...paying out WAY more than you bring in. Then you have Real Estate market that suckered people into buying at an interest rate of 1 percent...then the loan balloons. People were greedy...buying more than one home. Plus the Bush adminstration assisted companies to move outside of the US with taxpayer money. The era of Bush brought corporate welfare...and the middle class supporting Bush's war. And what do you know about Bush deregulating speculators....isn't that REALLY why the gas when up so high? Double Whammy: 50-Year Record on Sept. 22. $10 Trillion on Sept. 30, 2008. The gross national debt compared to GDP (how rich we are) reached its lowest level since 1931 as Reagan took office in 1981. It skyrocketed for 12 years through Bush senior. Clinton reversed it at a peak of 67%. Bush junior crossed that line on Sept. 22 and hit 69% on Sept 30. That's the highest it's been since 1955. (sources) Bush did three things to skyrocket the debt from $5.7 trillion to $10 trillion: 1. He lowered taxes on the rich (by far the biggest item). 2. He invaded Iraq instead of winning in Afghan-Pakistan (another $600 B). 3. He deregulated Wall Street speculators. That bailout has now "invested" $1T I think we are in a Depression...caused by the greed of the republicans...and these same people that ruined this country are telling Obama what to do? They need to get a grip on reality....53 percent voted for Obama....NOT McCain...just another Bush!
