Has ESPN developed a crisis team to deal with the Cowboys situation?

Like an hourly Sportscenter special report, "Cowboys in Crisis", with hourly reports from Ed Werder on the scene at Valley Ranch. He can report to the studio, where the crisis team is headed by Stuart Scott, with the top button of his shirt undone, tie loose and disheveled, a couple days beard growth since he's up practically all night manning the crisis team.

  1. haha no the media does enough of that and the people believe EVERY word of it. For example.............Favre never called Romo this past week, yet everyone was in here saying "oh so now Romo wants to play because Favre called him, he is just trying to be a hero". Direct quote from yahoo: "“I did not call the Lions, nor did I call Tony Romo,” a defiant Favre said. “I don’t know what else to tell everyone, but I’m not calling people.”" The link: http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylt=AiEi8FQNye0KmNCrqEL0UiA5nYcB?slug=ap-jets-favre-denial&prov=ap&type=lgns
  2. Just fire Wade and everything else will work itself out!
  3. just to prove that dude with the jerry jones pic wrong lol favre did call romo cuz favre was even on espn himself and said yes he did make a short phone call to romo simply saying if you can play with the pain try it.
  4. They could also do a crisis hotline for the players.
  5. The Cowboys are NOT in a CRISIS. Come on, a couple bad games and everyone wants to panic and hand the NFC East to the Giants. News flash: THE GIANTS HAVEN'T PLAYED ANYBODY BESIDES WASHINGTON. And speaking of Washington, after they beat the eagles and Cowboys, everybody wanted to hand them the division too, but as soon as they lost to St Louis they weren't on any analysts list of threats. I can't stand broadcasters because they hype everything up to no end. Every team as a point in the season where things don't go well. Yes even the 2007 Patriots, thiers just came at the end of the post season.
  6. Great question / rant and rave. I agree. They should change their name to esCn with all the nonsense they insist on reporting from Valley Ranch. I'm a Redskins fan. I don't know who Jason Campbell is dating or married to and frankly, I couldn't care less. You raise a valid point. There is a line past which sports coverage turns into being the medium to report a soap opera and ESPN has certainly crossed that line with the Cowgirls.
  7. I said it once, and I'll say it again.. Most NFL Fans eat whatever ESPN feeds to them. Dallas Fans know their team can turn it around. They know the season isnt over, even if it looks like it at the moment. ESPN will say whatever it can to cause comosion and ratings. I mean, One minute they love the Cowboys and Jerry Jones is a jenius, But. as soon as they start losing games.. Jerry Jones gets questioned and critized and so do the Cowboys... Reminds me of, when ESPN was calling Al Davis a Genius in 2003 after criticizing him 3months earlier when they lost 4straight. and their players were called old and done. Just like ESPN makes everyone believe Al Davis is the Cause of the Raiders lack of offense, so will they blame Jerry Jones for the lack of Defense the Cowboys are playing right now.
  8. Isn't this stupid? I mean, you'd think that there was a world war going on with global consequences. The Cowboys really played badly but they are riddled with talent and really banged up. If they can go into early November with a 5-4 record think that they will have a shot at the playoffs. Remember, the division is racked up with some strong teams so they'll take turns beating each other up and will all end up at 10-6 or 9-7....But they will have some strong teams. I think they'll get back on track but they have to get everyone healthy. Steve Wevodau
  9. It's like the Cows are the only thing going. It's like they get one story and drag it out. Who cares, there are 31 other teams. Just another choke job in Dallas anyway.
