What is the best pole to buy for lap dancing at home?

I am looking to buy a pole for lap dancing, seen a few different ones, which one is the best?

  1. So this is what it comes to? Reverting to cottage industries to survive the economic downturn?
  2. the one sticking out of my pants
  3. Well, usually if you're lap dancing you don't need a pole. The name implies it. It's like saying mom, I can;t eat my soup, I need a fork. I think.
  4. You are going to want a pole that you have to install, otherwise they tend to fall over (even if you are light as a feather), so preferably one fitted to the room, and thick enough to where you can have both hands completely on it but not touching one another have fun!
  5. interesting question. here's a link to an online place to buy stripper pole. have fun! http://www.learnpoledance.com/
  6. You can't lap dance on a pole, thats a pole dance.
  7. Lap dancing requires laps. Pole dancing requires poles.
  8. Ha ha ha, Love the responses! But in your defense, a good lap dancer knows how to pole dance too, right!? Gatta mix it up and keep it fresh! Anyway... yes I own a pole, and although I was nervous because it's not the most expensive one out there, it's worked like a "charm" and supposedly hold up to 2-300lbs. As long as it's braced well, there is NO problem going upside down, or whatever. I know it sounds cheesy, but it's the Carmen Electra one, and it works! You can find it anywhere online or in stores like Spencers/Hot Topic.
