Which program is the best to buy to file my own taxes from home?
All I have is a W-2 and my child care expenses. I claim head of household and I get to claim my son this year. Best Buy has so many to choose from and none of the workers can tell me anything. I would like to E-File and get my money back through direct deposit. Can anyone help me out? Thank you!

- I like turbo tax.
- Turbo Tax or Tax Cut are both good. You will not be able to file until the 11th of February though because of the dependant care credit. If you make less than $50,000 there are places online that you can file for free. They may have a charge for state returns though. If you go to www.irs.gov there is a link to the free filing stes.
- I like turbo tax, too. You should be able to use one of the free E-Files at IRS.gov. Remember to go to your state department of revenue to e-file the state return. Save a copy of federal return as those numbers are plugged into state returns. If you don't own a home or a small business, the basic one should be fine for you. Look at the bos and make sure it has child and dependent care and EIC and child tax credit. Be careful about HOH, make sure you qualify for it, or you increase your chances for an audit. With many returns you get nothing more than filing Single, anyway.
- definately use turbotax use the online version they will store your return for years in case you home computer crash it is a great backup
