Do you then go to the police and report a fraudulent Special Power of Attorney causing sale of your land?

I have the culprit's address, phone number, etc. because he is a relative. Will the local authorities send him a notice to cease & desist with his unscropulous land sale or else be arrested for grand theft?

  1. Hire a lawyer. Call the police. This one's too complicated to get advice like this from people out in YA land.
  2. Go to the police. If he has forged a Power of Attorney then the crime will be fraud, not grand theft, but that's still a felony. I'd also retain a lawyer, as there may be problems with the title in the future if the sale was already begun. Richard
