What is the best time to buy plane tickets?

I'm flying to MYR from ROC in April 2008. How long in advance should I buy the tickets to get the best rate?

3. I start checking 6 months out for airfare prices if I know in advance like you do. I find a price that fits in my budget, I buy it on the spot. Prices go up when planes start to fill up. If you need to travel on a particular day, don't hestitate. Buy. Good Luck)
