What is the best way to burn fat away?

As the title says, I'm interested in losing fat, not weight particularly (although that will most likely drop as well). I want to come up with a good routine to burn fat but I find it hard to do with a busy schedule. I'm at University so I don't get much time to focus on exercise, sometimes I don't have time for breakfast. I don't usually choose what I eat, it's more about what my parents decide they want to cook and I don't like making them cook something completely separate. This makes dieting a bit hard and while at Uni, it is hard to find food that suits a particular diet. Due to spending most of my time doing coursework or at Uni, I don't have time to exercise. I usually get home, have a quick shower, go to work, get home and have another shower then either finish coursework or sleep. I'm not a big fan of supplements as they are usually false and don't work, or so I have heard. Is there a sure fire way to help burn fat, preferably quickly, when you have a busy schedule? I can try to fit exercises in to the day, but I'd need to know what exercises I need to do. I have no fitness equipment and most likely can't go to a gym. Any help would be appreciated.
