Can you use a Lowes 10% off card at other home improvement stores? I found people on E BAY selling Lowes 10% off cards and claiming that you can use them at other home improvement centers besides Lowes such as Menards or Home Depot. Is this true & has anyone actually done this?

If you buy a product at menards and it goes on sale the next week, will they honor the sale price? We bought a grill 4 days ago at Menards home improvement store and it just went on sale for $100 off today. Will they refund the $100 or do i have to return the whole grill and then repurchase a new one?

asphalt roofing? It wasn't but a month ago that I saw a weekly flyer from one of the 3 home improvement stores, Menards, Home Depot or Lowes that advertised what I think was corrugated asphalt roofing sheets. situation with my boyfriend of 9 years? i have been dating this guy since highschool. we have been living together for a little over 2 years. i love him alot. but the past year has been horrible for the both of us. were still happy and getting through it though. in feb i started to get very sick and very often. i have had to miss alot of work and he picked up alot of the slack finantially. in june we were forced to leave a rental house that was flooded. we had to downsize our house and our lifestyle we were use to. in november i was laid off work from a 3 year job. now in january, he was fired from his job he was at for 6 years.. the past year we have been trying to have a baby with no luck. long story there. none of this stuff has caused us to break up or fight much.. just a little insite. i really dont have anyone to talk to who understands where im coming from. here is my situation. all of our plans are now suddenly changing due to us losing our jobs. i guess we both planned on buying the rental house that was flooding and staying at out jobs we were both at. i guess we never planned on things changing this much. there are no jobs doing what im doing. so im now taking some fast track classes on machine programming to stay in the manufacturing field, but to get a skilled job. my classes will be done this coming may. now my boyfriend wants to go back to school for 2 years to get his buisness degree. he was a manager for menards home improvement type store for 6 years. he wants his degree to get another similar management job. but with a degree it would be higher paying. both of us are using our heads with school to get better jobs here. no complaints.. we also discussed me getting back on birthcontrol so there isnt any accidents getting pregnant while were both taking classes. so im back to where i started. we were so close to being happy. had good jobs. talking about getting married. we were trying to have a baby. we were going to buy a house. everything ive wanted!! now with everything thats happened i have to start over!!! i feel so selfish!! i dont want to wait 2 years to get married!! i dont want to wait 2 years for a baby!! oviously we cant buy a house when were both going to school and no longer have our jobs!! im going to be 25 this june. all my friends have babies and i get so jelous!! ya know, i have wanted a dog the 2 years we have been living together. he said absolutely not!! he actually told me last night i could get a dog if i could reason with him about waiting for a baby. i knew he was right about us not having an accidental pregnancy now.. but it took giving up something i wanted to get a dang dog lol!!! can anyone relate to this story?? im just venting in a way. i know what were doing is responsible. why would be want to raise a child in a unstable home.. just kinda asking if its wrong to be kinda depressed and want these things since we have been together so long.. i dont know.. guess im kinda looking for someone to tell me im doing the right thing lol.. ahhhh!! in just fusterated lol.. i dont talk to kevin about this much cause i dont want him to feel like im mad at him for losing his job and i dont want him to think im mad about him going to school. i think its great he wants to better himself. last night he joked with me and said if ill be working and he will be going to school, that means he gets an extention on buying me my engagement ring.. he was joking i know, but he said for our 10 year aniverary that was my gift.. i didnt say anything and walked out the room. he later said something about it and asked my i left. i told him, i was kinda upset, but didnt want to take it out on him. he just bought himself a 3rd car!! spend 4,000 on it. now i have to wait on my engagement ring!! didnt think that was fair!! im not materialistic. far from it. but that was one of the very few things i truely wanted. he just didnt understand why i was upset.

What is an alternative to using coroplast on the bottom of a C&C cage? I am going to be making a C&C cage for my guinea but cannot find/don't know anywhere that sells coroplast. Is there any alternatives to coroplast? I live in a small town and we don't have any sign stores. We do have a Menards (home improvement store), do you think they would sell it there? I read that you can use linoleum but how do you put it in? Also when making the cage itself do you put the cubes on the bottom too? I know not to have it just the bare grids...I just didn't know if the grids were under the bottom or not. Thanks for any ideas and/or advice : )

Building supplies in Chicago? Does anyone now of a cheap home improvement store in Illinois in which I can purchase cheap building supplies to re-do my basement. I am aware of HomeDepot, Lowes, and Menards I was just wonering if there where any other stores?

remodeling kitchen to sell...advice please? So my husband and I are remodeling are kitchen. New cabinets and flooring. The only reason we are doing this besides the fact that our old cabinets are kind of crappy, is because we want to just sell the house. I am kind of up in the air about what to do with the cabinets. I have picked out the type of cabinet to get, which is nothing special, but they look nice. The question i have is what should i do about countertops. Our budget is pretty close to tapped with all of the improvements we are going to do, but should i spend extra to get nicer countertops or just get the one of the five in stock at lowes or home depot menards. Any ideas on how to cut costs on this project while still upgrading this house to attract buyers? What should i do? Don't have a lot of money but enough to get the job done otherwise this wouldn't even be an issue haha!
