Tony Little Exercise Equipment Knowledge Base
Cheapest Exercise equipment for over 350 lbs.? I'm having trouble finding any cardio exercise equipment rated for my weight in a reasonable price range. Everything I find rated for 350lbs is like over a thousand dollars. The only thing i've seen close are those retarded looking gazelle things sold by tony little at 4:00 am informercials. I should have mentioned... Its like -4 degrees farenheit here. There is no way am I leaving the house to go for a brisk walk, otherwise I would just do that.
How much does it cost to produce and run a 30 minute infomercial? I'd like to know seperately how much it would cost to produce, and how much to run weekly. How often do they typically run? I'd like to do something like what Tony Little did with his exercise equipment or Jack Delane (?) with the Juicer and now knives. Any info would be appreciated! Thanks!!!
question about exercise equipment? I have the tony little gazelle. it has the option of using resistance or no resistance. will i burn more calories with or without the resistance or will it be the same? also, it squeaks alot when i use the resistance(i have been using it for awhile now and am a bigger weight on it that most people), is there a way to like, lube/oil it so it doesnt squeak anymore?
best exercise equipment? I am 5-0 and want to lose some weight off my stomach so I was wondering which would be the best equipment to buy for personal home use. I already have a tony little gazelle which only worked to get my arms stronger and an ab lounge which hasn't worked at all. so I'm up to any suggestions plus it would also be nice just to be fit all over since I weigh 168 instead of 119 like I should be
What are reasonable yard sale prices? I am having a yard sale next weekend for the first time and have never been to any before so I don't really know what to expect. I have a ton of things for sale and am selling them in the first place to raise money for my last semester in college in the spring...so I hope to do good! How would I price brand new exercise equipment such as a Tony Little Gazelle, an AbSqueeze, and a manual treadmill? Not sure how much they originally were. Also, I have TONS of name brand clothes like Hollister, Delia's, American Eagle, etc. All of which I only wore a couple of times at most. What about Chicken Soup books and a Waterford Crystal Vase that is brand new and is really heavy? Oh and VHS/DVD/CDs and a Super Nintendo system with 2 controllers and 9 games? If I could get the prices for these and also any other advice like when should I start negotiating prices? I've heard horrible stories about yard sales and people only giving you quarters for expensive items. Also, how can I promote the sale? I'm already trying Craigslist, posters, and a newspaper ad.
Inexpensive workout machines? My mom bought Tony Little's 'Gazelle' a while back. I use it for HOURS a day (which is probably a little strenuous) and i've seen almost no results. Whenever I suggest some new exercise equipment my dad shoots me down. I need something that will actually work and isn't too incredibly pricey. It's really gotta be cheap or dad won't even consider it. -thanks. Since it's been extremely hot out and I can't afford a gym membership, indoor equipment is REALLY what i need.

Ab Rocket, Ab Lounge or Tony Horton's 10 min. trainer? Ab Rocket, Ab Lounge or Tony Horton's 10 min. trainer...These are 3 exercising equipments I'm interested in but I want to get the right one for me and would love to know which one can give me better and faster results...? I have read good and bad reviews specially about the Ab Rocket because that's the one I'm the most interested in. So I would love to hear from people that DO HAVE EITHER ONE OF THESE OR HAD THEM. I don't want to loose weight and I don't think I need to loose weight, I just want to get my abs nice and firm again and loose the little pouch. I had two baby's so that's what I'm talking about. I weight 105 at the moment. I really want to get my abs firm and tone and sit down and not have to worry about that lil pouch that forms. Will really appreciate all the help and answers. Thanks...
Does the Total Gym XLS REALLY work? Im 14 years old, about 280lbs. I am so overweight. My parents have spent just about over $200 on exercise machines that didn't work. My mom bought me a Tony Little Gazelle, Shaun T's Hip Hop Abs, and neither worked. I just recently bought the Ab Circle Pro, and after 8 days, the entire left side of the circle was ripped to shreds, both my memory foam knee pads were cracked, and the left wheel was flat. I'm pretty sure my parents are getting sick and tired of wasting their money on equipment that doesn't work. I would really like to know if the Total Gym XLS really does work? I need something fast that will at least get me down to 230lbs. by August because I am switching from offensive tackle, to linebacker this year. Please give me your opinions, I would really appreciate it. Thanks! :)
P90X or 10 Minute Trainer? (workout programs)? I am 20 years old, 5'11" tall, 165lbs, and have just a little muscle mass (not too skinny, but not "ripped" or extraordinarily strong by any means). I'm interested in doing either P90X or 10 Minute Trainer, both by Tony Horton. I am in college and don't have a lot of room in my dorm for equipment and exercising (which worries me about having a pull-up bar for the P90X Program). I am more concerned with building muscle mass -- mostly biceps and abs -- than I am with losing weight. Has anyone tried one of these programs, or both? What would you recommend for my age/height/weight and goal to build muscle mass? Thanks!
